Simon is an experienced corporate transactional lawyer, with particular expertise in capital markets and M&A. He advises a wide range of domestic and international clients, including high net-worth individuals, private-equity backed businesses and publicly quoted companies.

Praised by clients as a ‘tour de force’ (Legal 500, 2019), Simon has extensive experience of the UK public markets (particularly the Standard List and AIM), having advised on numerous IPOs, secondary fundraisings and takeovers. Principally acting for issuers, he has advised companies from the US, Canada and Australia in seeking primary or secondary quotes on the UK’s markets.

In addition to his legal practice, Simon is a non-executive director and company secretary of Standard listed SPAC Mustang Energy (LSE: MUST). He also currently serves as company secretary of AIM-quoted companies Iofina (AIM: IOF), Primorus Investments (AIM: PRIM) and Synairgen (AIM: SNG).
